Use BIOGUARD BURNOUT 3 To Effectively Shock Your Pool
***Note: We Don't Recommend Burn Out 3 For Pools With Vinyl Liners-Regardless Of The Label Claims. Burn Out 3 Is A Calcium Based Shock And Calcium Doesn't Dissolve As Quickly As Other BioGuard Shocks And Can Bleach Out Vinyl Liners By Sitting Undissolved On The Pool Surface. The Same Can Be Said For Pools With Colored Plaster. There Are A Few More If/And Situations To Consider With This Shock: If You Have A Concrete, Gunnite, Or White Plaster Pool This Shock Would Work Absolutely Fine. If You Have Source Water High In Calcium We Do Not Recommend This Shock.
Label Directions For Use: With the pool pump in operation, broadcast the product evenly into the deep end of the pool. Continue to operate recirculation pump for 4-8 hours after product addition. In pools with potentially bleachable surfaces such as vinyl, pain, fiberglass or colored plaster, brush any undissolved product from pool surfaces. Apply this product at a rate of 1 pound per 20,000 gallons every week or 1 pound per 10,000 gallons every other week into the deep end of the pool when the pool is not in use. Reapply after heavy rain or heavy bather loads.
