Total alkalinity in pool water should be maintained in the range of 125-150 ppm. For pools using Mineral Springs or pools equipped with chlorine generators total alkalinity should be 80-150 ppm.
Add directly to pool water with pump and filter running. 1.5lb of this product per 10,000 gallons of water will raise total alkalinity 10 parts per million (ppm). Refer to addition chart below to determine amount needed to correctly balance pool water. Large additions should be divided into thirds and added every 6 hours.
